How to Remove Blood Stains from Clothes?

Many of you may wonder if it’s possible to remove blood stains. Whether it’s from fabric, carpet, clothes, or walls, removing blood stains can be easy.

You can remove blood stains in minutes using materials that most of us have at home. Here’s a short list of what you’ll need:

Pass it through cold water

A blood stain can get onto surfaces for a variety of reasons, such as a sudden nosebleed, popping a pimple, or cutting your finger while doing work in the kitchen. If you’re wondering whether a blood stain can be removed from fabric or clothes, start by rinsing the stained area with cold water. If the stained item is a heavy or bulky object, press a cold pack against the stain to prevent it from spreading. Avoid using warm water on the stain, as this can cause it to set in more.

After soaking the item in cold water, you can wash it in your washing machine. For larger items that can’t be moved, use a damp cloth to scrub the stain until it disappears. When scrubbing, you can use a household detergent or a special stain remover that’s designed specifically for blood stains. Finally, make sure to rinse the item with cold water before washing it in the machine.

USE BAKING SODA

Using baking soda is a great solution for removing blood stains from carpets. To remove the stain, sprinkle some baking soda over the affected area and start scrubbing with a damp sponge. Rinse the sponge with cold water and continue scrubbing the stained area. You will see for yourself how the stain disappears from the carpet. You can also try this method for removing blood stains from couches and chairs. You can use this method in all situations where you want to get rid of blood stains. Depending on the size of the stain, you can increase the amount of baking soda used.

WHITE VINEGAR FOR REMOVING BLOOD STAINS

Don’t worry about how to remove dried blood stains, white vinegar in your pantry is a solution for a dried stain. Pour a little white vinegar on the dried or fresh blood stain. Since white vinegar is a solvent, it helps to remove the stain by wearing away the fibers of the fabric or carpet. To use vinegar effectively, you can spray it on the stain with the help of a spray bottle.

Vinegar won’t harm the fabric, so it will easily remove the stain from the fabric.

Removing blood stains with shower gel

Sometimes blood stains can be found on floors such as tiles or parquets at our homes or workplaces. In such cases, I recommend softening the stain with shower gel. After washing a sponge with hot water, pour some shower gel onto it and gently rub the stained area in a circular motion. If you have the option to clean the floor, this is a more effective solution for removing the blood stain.
