Here, what I want to explain is that there is not a single type of ink. Quickly intervening in an ink stain can be advantageous for you. If the stain is not yet dry on fabric or clothing, it is easy to remove. At that moment, you can make the first intervention with a paper towel or a tissue.
Never try to wash a clothing item that has an ink stain directly because the clothing absorbs the ink stain like its own stain, and the clothing color and ink color become identical, resulting in a completely different outcome. METHYL ALCOHOL
Due to methyl alcohol being a solvent, it will be your biggest helper when you encounter such situations, especially for colored clothes. Use a cotton ball to apply this method by rubbing the area of the stain with the cotton ball, repeating the process until the stain is removed or until the cotton can no longer absorb the stain.
If the stain still persists on the clothes, prepare a soapy water solution and soak the garment in it for approximately 1-3 hours before washing. You will see how effective this method is.
ACETONE
Acetone is also an effective substance, at least as much as methyl alcohol. You can try the same method with acetone on your clothes, but remember that if you try this method on a delicate fabric, acetone can damage your clothing. So it’s better to be careful.
MİLK
This method may catch your attention and seem interesting to you, but using milk can be a helpful way to remove ink stains from your clothes. After soaking your clothing in warm or hot milk for about 1-3 hours, you will see that the ink stain has mixed with the milk and has been removed from the fabric.
Lemon juice
One of the methods you can use to remove ink stains from clothes or other fabrics is lemon juice. By pressing a cotton ball dipped in lemon juice onto the stained area, you can make the ink transfer from the fabric to the cotton. Repeat this process until the stain is gone, and in some cases, you may achieve successful results.
If none of the above methods work, it’s worth noting that dry cleaning is your last resort. Using chemicals specifically designed to remove ink stains, dry cleaning can help you achieve your goal directly and eliminate risky methods such as using acetone.
